Seger tickets go on sale Dec. 9

Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band are coming to town Feb. 10 in the first big show of 2007 at Alltel Arena.

The onsale date was moved back from this weekend to Dec. 9 at 10 a.m. through all Ticketmaster outlets (Harvest Foods stores, Celebrity Attractions' office downtown, 975-7575 for charge-by-phone, and www.ticketmaster.com) or the arena box office in person. The onsale was moved to that date, in which all the shows on the second leg of Seger's tour will open that day.

All seats are $65.

The show here will start at 8 p.m. It's the first tour in 10 years for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and his band. He's got a new album, "Face The Promise," that debuted No. 4 on the Billboard 200 album chart, Seger's highest album debut ever.

Comments

Saw Seger and SilverBullet years ago in Memphis, and he was cookin' that night in the old Coliseum.
Today's music ain't got the same soul. Bring us back some old-time rock 'n roll.

As Judge Wendell Griffen says, courage is not a vice (though critics seem to fault him for having it) but a virtue. /more/
