Hold the phone on that Cate Brothers retirement

You thought the last chance to see the Cate Brothers live  in Little Rock was last month? Well, not so fast my friend. The Cates were scheduled to play a private party this coming Friday night, Dec. 16, at the White Water Tavern, but now we've learned that the party will be open to everyone willing to pay the $10 cover charge.

The veteran Arkie rockers have played a few dates each year at the intimate club at Seventh and Thayer streets for the last decade-plus, and they’ll be back there for a show that REALLY is their last Little Rock date before they disband. It’ll start around 9 p.m.

And, you can see the Cate Brothers for free in Conway on Thursday at the AETN studios, as they'll be taping a show there. All you have to do is show up before 6:30 p.m. at the studios on Donaghey Street, just south of the UCA campus.
