Annie Canada, check her out

She's not from Arkansas; in fact, she's from Canada, hence the last name. But the connection is that this youtube video of Annie Canada's was one of the most discussed videos on the site last night, and the video is created by our own resident McG at the Times, Roland Gladden (who also free-lances as a bass player for various rock and jazz bands around).

As Roland describes it: "Basically I've collaborated with someone I don't know from another country and it turned out really cool. Check out the comments. Talked to [Annie] last night and she is delighted ... look for a new collaboration soon."

Also, Roland will be putting highlights of the Arkansas Times Musicians Showcase on youtube.com, beginning wituh the opening night Jan. 25 (tomorrow night). Expect a five- or 10-minute recap of what's happened that night.
