Looking ahead to Friday: The Boondogs

We're looking forward to seeing the Boondogs back on stage at Sticky Fingerz on Friday, Jan. 5, and we're also looking forward to seeing the opener, singer-songwriter Sara Thomas, who we haven't heard much out of in a few weeks. The Boondogs have a new record in the works on Max Recordings, and also plan to offer a few Fleetwood Mac covers like they did at Halloween.

Cat Gilbert has a full clubs report starting with shows tonight on her blog.

I think Sara and the Boondogs are at the Whitewater, not Sticky's. Here's an e-mail from her:

Happy New Year everybody!!

The Boondogs are playing Whitewater Tavern tomorrow night and I'm going to join them for a few Fleetwood Mac covers. We're reliving some halloween moments - sans costumes.
