Bronchitis sidelines Who's Daltrey in Tampa

According to wire service reports, the Who had to quit after one song of last night's concert in Tampa when lead singer Roger Daltrey could not continue because of bronchitis. The Tampa crowd of 9,000 was happy to learn later than the Who would be back May 25 to make up the show.

The Who plays at North Little Rock's Alltel Arena a week from today (March 22).

Comments

Sorry to hear about Roger's bronchitis. I hope he gets back to full voice soon. If not in time for Alltell, please tell Pete that many of us would love to hear him just play songs from his solo albums, especially Who Came First, Rough Mix, Chinese Eyes and Psychoderelict. Pete singing all of Quadrophenia would be cool too.

If he has a good, real case of bronchitis, I've had it twice, he may not be healed in time for LR concert. That stuff turns into pneumonia quickly if you don't care for it.
