Highlights from Friday's Showcase finals

Here's a look at Friday's massive Arkansas Times Musicians Showcase finals at the Revolution Room last week, plus a little on the announcement last night at Sticky Fingerz that Cooper's Orbit was the 2007 best original music band in Arkansas.

Great performances all around -- Highway 5, Cooper's Orbit, Damn Bullets, Jeff Coleman and the Feeders, and Dean Agus Band were all husky. More than 700 passed through the doors Friday, and a good crowd showed up last night just to learn who had won.
