David Koon, our intrepid in-house movie reviewer (as opposed to our out-of-house movielover, the Moviegoer, and another of our good out-of-house movie pundits, Matt Reed), points out this feature from Entertainment Weekly's online edition: The 12 movies that make guys cry.

And on that list, which has us chortling, are such films as "Field of Dreams" and "Hoosiers." Sorry, sports flick may make us cheer, but not tear. Do they make you tear?

Now, "Saving Private Ryan," yeah, we had to kinda cover up our face so our date that night wouldn't notice, as if the sniffling didn't give it away. And "My Dog Skip," truth be known, nobody was home, it was middle of the afternoon, watching it on HBO, and yes we were bawling like a little 5-year-old again.

But "Armageddon," are you kidding me? Just listening to the lyrics of that Aerosmith song assured that we wouldn't get the least bit sentimental over that one.
