Big day in Fayetteville Saturday
If the weather isn't just downright awful and wet, there could be 25,000 to 30,000 people hanging around Frank Broyles' massive athletic monstrosity, from Baum Stadium south of Razorback Road all the way up to Reynolds Razorback Stadium, and points in between for Fan Apprecation Day. The activities including a UA baseball game with Florida at 1 p.m., a meet the football players and coaches from 10 a.m. to noon, a 7-on-7 afternoon including former Hogs playing, and the annual spring "game" at 6 p.m., which should be simply a glorified scrimmage where only the second-teamers tackle each other.
We're expecting 1,000 people to already be in line for Darren McFadden's autograph when the doors open to the Walker Indoor Practice Facility at 10 a.m.
It's all free, and there are plenty of activities for the kids, including a NASCAR simulator and other interactive exhibits.

Blues Traveler was at The Rev Room yesterday. Chris Henry opened for them. Great show on both counts. Afterward there was a party at Ernie Biggs. John Popper jamed with Chris. Out on the Rock was there and caught it on video. www.outontherock.com, or you can link it from chrishenrymusic.net

How far down on the list of things to do do you have to be before you want to go to a Fan Appreciationn weekend at U of A or any college for that matter. I guess I just don't get it and never will. "Owww, look there goes a real live Razorback honey."
Does the phrase get a life or maybe at least a better hobby jump to mind anyone.

O.K., unless it is your kid. Maybe, and only maybe does that argument hold.
