Jeff Nichols, a dancing robot and Spoon

Jeff Nichols continues to blow up. Here the Little Rock director teams with Spoon for a WIRED magazine-commissioned music video, featuring Keepon, a dancing robot that became a YouTube sensation when it debuted in March to the soundtrack of Spoon's "I Turn My Camera On." In anticipation of next month's WIRED Nextfest, where Spoon and Keepon will be reunited, WIRED sent Nichols to Toyko to film this vid for "Don't You Evah." Adam Stone, Nichols's cinematographer for "Shotgun Stories," shot this one, too.

Pretty damn sharp.

As Judge Wendell Griffen says, courage is not a vice (though critics seem to fault him for having it) but a virtue. /more/
