Because rapping grandmas are forever

Lucky Dog Audio Post, a local sound studio owned and operated by Scott Minor and Charles Wyrick, produced a radio commercial that's one of seven finalists for a national award for advertising on the radio. The spot, entitled “EZ Mabel,” promotes a Yahoo jobs website and features Minor’s 90-year-old grandmother, Rose Minor of Rose Bud, playing a DJ mistakenly hired by a hip-hop radio station. The award show will be held Nov. 2 in New York. Stephen Colbert hosts.

Listen here. Pretty friggin' hilarious. A good script makes a good radio commercial, or so I've been told. But this is all Grandma Minor.
