Everything Smoke Up Johnny

Our lead story in the arts and entertainment section is on Smoke Up Johnny, the local rock 'n' roll band. They're great, and they're celebrating the release of their debut CD with a big concert on Friday at White Water.

To go along with all that, Rock Candy and Arkansas Times co-produced a short documentary on the band with the super-talented dudes of Deluxe36, a local web-video production team made up of Bryan Stafford and Kevin Stanberry. Those with delicate sensibilities be warned: There's some cursing. And a lot of guitar shredding. See the video on our homepage in the Recent Videos player and, for a bigger player, with an option to go nearly full screen, check out our media gallery.
