Catchy indie rockers The Future of the Ghost, from Salt Lake City, come to White Water with hillbilly rockers Jason and the Punknecks, 9 p.m., $5.

Billy Joe Shaver-endorsed outlaw country singer Jackson Taylor plays Sticky Fingerz, 9:30 p.m.

The stylistically diverse party band Typhoid Mary headlines at Cajun's Wharf, 9 p.m., $5.

Eric “Carolina Davis” shakes 'em on down at On the Rocks, where there's all-you-can-eat crawfish, 8 p.m., $5 after 9 p.m.

Jazz favorites the Ted Ludwig Trio perform, as usual, at the Afterthought, 8 p.m., $5.

“Sherlock Holmes” continues at the Rep.
