Anticipate: Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives

Owner of the most enduring mullet in country music, wearer of shiny suits and shoulder pads, musical polymath, collector of country music ephemera, photographer — Marty Stuart will be on display in full on Aug. 23 at the Old Statehouse, when he comes to town in conjunction with the museum's "Sparkle & Twang - Marty Stuart’s American Musical Odyssey" exhibit.

Tickets go on-sale on Sunday, July 20. Call 324-9865 for more info.

Comments

I assume he's going play in the "ballroom" upstairs? The acoustics are awful.

If you have an XM radio, then you already know that Marty (along with Bob Dylan and Bill Anderson) has a great weekly program.
