Josh Lucas stars in Showtime pilot

Little Rock native Josh Lucas, who's famous largely for looking like Matthew McConaughey and playing assholes, will star in "Possible Side Effects," a pilot Tim Robbins' is producing for Showtime. The Hollywood Reporter says the show revolves around, "the Hunts, a dysfunctional family running a pharmaceutical company" and "examines the political, scientific and bureaucratic machinery that makes up the drug industry."

Lucas stars as the patriarch, Max Hunt, "who tries to keep the business and the family together in the face of controversy."

No word on when it'll debut.

Also upcoming for Lucas, a modern telling of "The Tell-Tale Heart" ("Tell-Tale"); a star-studded movie about a mysterious train wreck ("Peacock"); a flick about a broken family, healing ("Long Time Gone"); a starring role as a Jesuit priest working undercover on Wall Street to uncover a conspiracy involving the Vatican Bank, the CIA, the Mafia and the Masons ("God's Spy"— please don't let this be a joke) and a bank heist film ("Six Bullets from Now").
