"The Power of Love" made weedy

Like I told you pre-Riverfest, Huey Lewis is responsible for the theme song for what's sure to be the funniest comedy of the summer, LR native David Gordon Green's "Pineapple Express."

You can stream the theme here on Myspace.

The chorus goes, "We got trouble, we got to get out of here. I've got you, you've got me. We are as high as we can be. That's all right. How did we get into this mess?"

There are rooftop horns.

Comments

This song sounds suspiciously like "Give Me the Keys (And I'll Drive You Crazy)."
