Thursday: The Uglysuit, Adam Carroll, Ted Ludwig and more


The Uglysuit.

With high harmonies and lush instrumentation, the Uglysuit come to On the Rocks in support of its debut self-titled album. Expect a full range of blissed-out pop and weird-out psychedelics. Local duo Midwest Caravan opens, 9 p.m., $5.

Texas singer/songwriters Adam Carroll and Owen Temple each bring literate country-rock to White Water Tavern, 10 p.m.

At Cajun's, local cover act Typhoid Mary headlines at Cajun's Wharf, 9 p.m., $5.

As usual, seven-string phenom Ted Ludwig leads a trio at the Capital Hotel Bar, 5 p.m., free, before heading over to the  Afterthought, 8:30 p.m., $5.
