Showcase time


Mr. Morbid and last year's winner 607.

We've set the dates for the 2009 Arkansas Times Musicians Showcase. The semi-finals begin Friday, Jan. 30 and run three Thursdays, Feb. 5, 12, 19, and, depending on entrants, another Friday, Feb. 27.  All at Sticky Fingerz.

As usual, the contest is open to any act in Arkansas who specializes in original material.

The entry deadline is Jan. 8.

Next week, we'll have our online entry form up. If you're anxious, there's an entry form in page 20 of this week's issue.
