From Nashville, Brenn specializes in atmospheric pop rock that's likely to mesh well with local dream-pop collective Bear Colony at On the Rocks, 9 p.m., $5.

At Sticky Fingerz, three-piece Speakeasy works up a jam, 9 p.m., $5.

Cajun's hosts wide-ranging local cover band Jet420, 9 p.m., $5.

To Write Love on Her Arms is a suicide prevention network that will share stories between performances by Nevertheless, Dan Evans (from “The Biggest Loser”) and Between the Trees, 8:30 p.m. at Revolution, $12 adv., $15 d.o.s.

At the Pulaski Academy Connor Performing Arts Center, “As We Forgive,” a documentary about two Rwandan women coming into contact with the men who slaughtered their family during the 1994 genocide, screens for free at 7 p.m.

The Clinton School hosts a free screening of “The Buffalo Flows,” about America's first national river, 7 p.m.
