Kris Allen is pretty much famous now



Never underestimate the nimble texting fingers of tweenage girls. Kris Allen, UCA student and Little Rock native, is one of the final 12 on "American Idol." Which means that he's about to be on TV for a looong time. Or if everything goes terribly, just the next three weeks. But! If he can outlast just two of the final 12, he'll get to tour the country with "American Idols Live." And if he can make in to the top six, maybe he'll win an Oscar.
