The best show on TV survives

Sweet. Thanks to a cost-sharing plan with DirecTV, the critically acclaimed and criminally under-viewed NBC show "Friday Night Lights" has been renewed for two seasons. It'll pick back up on DTV next fall for 13 episodes and January for idiots like me who cancelled their DirecTV for terrible, terrible UVerse.

What's your beef with U-Verse? Just curious ...

The TV part can't handle any motion. Everything gets pixelated. Occasionally, I get green blotches or other serious picture-altering pixel problems.

The Internet is halting.

It takes 15 seconds for the dialtone to register on the VOIP (not a huge deal, but annoying).

I do like the DVR way better than DirecTV's or Comcast's. And I like the price of course.
