Jeff Matika in Rolling Stone

That's Matika hiding behind the keyboardist. At DNA Lounge. Click to enlarge.

Or at least on Rollingstone.com.

In what's long been a not-so-closely guarded secret, the touring line-up of Green Day is now 1/3 Arkansan. Jeff Matika (Ashtray Babyhead, Magic Cropdusters, the Moving Front briefly) has joined long time guitarist and Little Rocker Jason White in Green Day for the band's upcoming World Tour behind it's new rock opera "21st Century Breakdown,"  out on May 15.

To warm up, the new line-up has been playing secret shows in the Bay Area this week. The New York Times caught the second at DNA Lounge in San Francisco. Here's a bunch of pics from the show, including the only clear one of Matika I could find. Rolling Stone filed its incredibly enthusiastic report from the third show, at the Fox Theater in Oakland.
