FRIDAY 4/24

At Revolution, “Girls Night Out Vol. II” features DJ Shortee, one of the most prominent turntablists in the DJ world; CB Shaw, a Canadian VJ on the forefront of live music and video blending, and g-force, arguably Little Rock's finest DJ, 8 p.m., $5 (ladies free until 10:30 p.m.).

At the River Market Pavilions, Craws for Paws benefits the Pulaski County Humane Society and features crawfish, beer and music, 7 p.m., $25 adv., $30 d.o.s.

The Rockefeller Institute's film series, “Reel Stories,” continues with “Troubled Water,” a documentary about the potential for a water crisis in Arkansas, Rockefeller Institute Room 335, Petit Jean Mountain, 7 p.m., $10.

SATURDAY 4/25

The sixth annual Earth Day offers green shopping and recycling opportunities along with music, dancing and food at the North Shore Riverwalk, 10 a.m., free.

Riverfest Amphitheatre plays host to “grown folks music” by the likes of Bigg Robb and Calvin Richardson at Blues on the River, 2 p.m., $25-$35.

The best-themed fund-raiser of the year, “Woo at the Zoo,” returns with tours on the reproductive habits of animals, a silent auction, appetizers, drinks and music, 6 p.m., $35.

At Vino's, local rap outfit the 4X4 Crew continues to support its debut album, “4 Brothers,” 8 p.m., $5.

SUNDAY 4/26

The Cave Singers play an affecting style of folk rock at Sticky Fingerz. Frown Pow'r opens, 8 p.m., $5.
