Kris Allen is going to win



So Vote for the Worst, one of two psychics interviewed by Newsday and Congressional Quarterly all like Kris Allen to win the finale of "American Idol," which kicks off tonight at 7 p.m. on Fox.

If you feel like communing with other Kris Allen fans, there's a party in Estes Stadium at UCA, from 6 p.m. until midnight. The show will be projected onto the jumbotron.

In Little Rock, Sticky Fingerz, Rumba and the Peabody are all having parties. The latter will have two nine by 12 screens set up and a lot of give-aways.

KrisAllenNation.com has an extensive list of voting tips for the uninitiated (you may think you know about voting, but if you've never heard of Gizmo or don't have a second Go Phone for voting, you're no kind of hardcore).

I think I'll try to live-blog the show tonight.
