Ugh.

Beforehand, take the whole family to "Shrek the Third," which is showing at Movies in the Park in the Riverfest Amphitheater, sundown, free.

At Satellite, the Damn Bullets Paul Morphis, who likes to walk around Hillcrest strumming a guitar and singing loud, plays a free, stationary show, 9 p.m.

Alt-rocker act Evans Blue shares a bill with Rains, Silverstone and Dark From Day One at Juanita's, 9 p.m., $5. It's open to all ages.

At Deep, DJ Shawn Lee turns it out,  9 p.m., $5, free with flyer, ladies free and $1 martinis, $1 draft with own mug.
