Rain has it in for 'Ferris Bueller'

All sun for Ferris in 2010.

For the second time this year, rain, or at least the threat of rain, has forced Movies in the Park organizers to postpone "Ferris Bueller." This time it's for a whole year. The John Hughes classic has now been slated as the 2010 kick-off film.

Next week: The people have spoken and "The Goonies" is their choice.

Comments

Why do they show old and dated movies in the park? Why not new or newere ones? Eureka Springs has downtown movies on the side of a building showing movies that are still in theaters. Just a question.

I grew tired of Ferris and Goonies when they became rerun movies on WGN.
