A Brave Young Man Recieves a Fireman's Funeral

Chris Bodkins of Williford received a firefighter's funeral, making his final trip on the Williford Volunteer Fire Department truck in a casket on its way to the Cossey Family Cemetery.

Bodkins, 16, died Saturday after being swept up in rising floodwaters in the Martin Creek area as he and others with the town's volunteer fire department were trying to rescue stranded residents.
