Law and Order: Carroll County style

Never a dull political moment in Carroll County.  An attempted ballot initiative to abolish the Carroll County jail tax failed to gather enough signatures to get on the ballott.  Two other initiatives did make the cut.  One would abolish Eureka Springs’ coveted two cent Advertising and Promotion tax (a.k.a. the Hamburger Tax—used for promoting tourism).  THE OTHER ballot question would make misdemeanor possession of marijuana Carroll County’s “lowest law enforcement priority.”  (Insert jokes here).
