Folks go missing in Newton Cty
This story from the Harrison Daily Times that begins by giving an account of Sherry Jones, who went missing near Parthanon last Friday. It then goes on to talk about three other men who went missing last year and were never heard from again.
Folks, if you don't know Parthanon, its real rugged. It lies in a valley along the Little Buffalo River and is surrounded by the Boston Mountains. These folks may never be found.

Sherry Jones is my sister and I honestly don't feel like this case has been handled in a fashionable matter. I live in the Smoky Moutains and when someone is missing we search until they are found. This county should call in a higher authority on this matter and they should have on many other cases too. I just don't feel like this county has equipment or authorities to find these missing people. They won't ask for help from anyone else. Sherry wasn't in the woods she called her family here from home about 20 minutes prior to her 911 call, we feel like there is fowl play but we get different stories each time we contact them. She is a registered nurse and she is very independent I just don't feel like she did this herself.Her fanily and friends are anxiously awaiting for answers. No one even calls to inform us of any information pertaiining to this case. She was fine when she called here that day she was not intoxicated she was upset, our family just doesn't feel like she walked off and left everything. How would you feel if you couldn't get any answers and you were thousands of miles away? we just miss her and hope for her to return safely so ahe can come back home with her family, please keep your prayers with us. thanks.

Its getting a little unusal isn't it that Sherry Jones is still missing and no one has any idea what may have happened to her. Why hasn't there been anyone asking questions? She did not leave everything behind that is not her at all. She is too responsible and worked too hard to achieve what she has in life to leave it. She is somewhere in that town and someone knows where. She has friends there. I know some of them know something. They are hunters and they could find her if she was around her house. That town reminds me of something you would see on the late movie. Something is not right about it all. Why isn't it being broadcast on the news. Why hasn't anyone called her family to ask questions. Why hasn't anyone been doing anything. Is it because of the election? Well now that the election is over someone should find her. I KNOW SOMEONE KNOWS SOMETHING!!!!!
