Sales tax override (UPDATE)

As posted previously, the Clark County Judge vetoed the unanimous quorum court decision to put a sales tax for a new jail to the people.  They are expected to meet the two-thirds vote required to override his veto.  What this spells for the political calculus of the proposal's passage is another matter.  These things are always too local to know unless you have local connections.  Even then it can be anyone's guess.

UPDATE:  The vote failed.
