Conway Uncommon

In mayor Tab Townsell's state of the city speech this week he noted that Conway was built upon the hard work of "common" people but that the demographics have changed and will hopefully continue to.  The mayor continues on to tout several other interesting statistics about Conway, e.g. Conway has the highest per capita family income of Arkansas' 10 largest cities.

He also said he will continue to support legitimate restaurants that want to serve alcoho ( so I guess my roadhouse liquour emporium/ illegal cock fight is still on hold) as if Chili's with a
"drinking section" [I kid you not, they asked me if I wanted drinking or non at Outback] is the golden ticket to creating a southern silicon valley...sigh...I remember when Conway was a nice town with a balanced populace and economy. Now it's a haven for people who just don't think "livin out Highway 10" is far enough from the urban wretches.

In ten years will he be calling for a Casino light rail to "the city" and minor league baseball team? I wouldn't put it past him.
