Yeah - this will play well with folks who punch a time clock
Obviously I've known a whole lot more people who have had their wages garnished than the folks in the Clinton campaign

Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., this morning left open the possibility that, if elected, her government would garnish the wages of people who didn't comply with her health care plan. "We will have an enforcement mechanism, whether it's that or it's some other mechanism through the tax system or automatic enrollments," Clinton said in an appearance on "This Week with George Stephanopoulos".
Clinton went on to say, though, that such mechanisms would not include penalties. "They don't have to pay fines …… We want them to have insurance. We want it to be affordable. And what I have said is that there are a number of ways of doing that. Now, there's not just one way of getting to that."

Well, as much as this country needs universal health care, it’s pretty obvious that somebody on the Clinton campaign is out of touch with reality. No matter the cause or the benefits derived, when you work for an hourly wage, having your wages garnished is most definitely viewed as a “penalty.”

Hyndai - forget about it!
For the past few months we’ve all been assaulted with the Hyundai “Think about it” ad campaign. I especially enjoy the commercial where the narrator talks about how today’s culture has conditioned us all to just change what we don’t like. What happened to commitment, we are asked?
Don’t like your nose? Get a new one.
Don’t like your spouse? Get a new one.
Don’t like your job? Get a new one.
What happened to commitment?
Well, except for the changing your spouse idea, why not get a new nose if you don’t like yours? And why not get a new job, if your boss is a jerk? That last one had to be written by someone in management.
Well, Tracy and I have both thought about it, and we have decided that the Hyundai ads have had a positive influence on us:
We are never going to buy a Hyundai.

This may not mean much to most, but Barry Morse, who played Victor Bergman on “Space 1999" died Saturday at University College in London.
He also played Lt. Gerard on ABC’s “The Fugitive.”
