Commentary from Northwest Arkansas

« I know Joe Six-Pack, and you're no Joe Six-Pack | Main | YouTube and debates: Why should Salt Lake City be cooler than Fayetteville? »

Just too wonderful for words: Fayetteville - and Dan Coody - to welcome bottled water company?

I guess Brother Dan will lay low on the words of wisdom about the dangers of bottled water while the folks from Iceland are here, looking at the old Tyson plant.

On the Air with Sami Sutton

Fayetteville mayoral candidate Sami Sutton will be a guest on my show this coming week. Despite the best efforts of the Northwest Arkansas Times to trivialize her campaign, she comes across as a bright young woman.

Those interested in learning more about her can check out her Website: www.samiformayor.com

Show days and times:

Monday - 7pm
Tuesday - noon
Saturday - 6pm

Though it’s late in the election season, my advice to candidates is to always see if they can become a guest on a public access talk show. They get more time to expand on their views, and to connect with the voters than through the run-of-the-mill forums - as important as they are.

Oh, wait - your town may not have public access television! Well, I guess you can thank your city council for that . . .
