Marvin Hilton asks Susan Thomas a question - in public

New Telecom Board member Marvin Hilton has sent an email to Dr. Susan Thomas, asking about a candidate forum on the Government Channel - with no easy answer for the current administration, I fear.

What will the response be? Here is the letter Hilton sent today. I have put the relevant FGC policy in bold.

Susan,

What is the status of the candidate forum for US Representative for our district? It is my understanding that John Boozman does not wish to participate in a forum and that Abel Tomlinson Does. Also it is my/ understanding that the League of Women Voters has a rule not to do candidate forums with only one side participating but the Government Channel policy
reads:

"A moderated public forum will not be cancelled just because one candidate or side of a ballot issue refuses to appear to debate."

Marvin
