Fayetteville's Telecomm Board Internet Sub-committee meeting announced - Twitterites, please take note

On Monday, May 11, the Telecomm Board’s Internet Subcommittee will hold a meeting at the PEG Center (101 W. Rock) at noon, to discuss Internet policy, including recent suggestions put forward by alderman Matthew Petty. This will be an excellent chance for all - including Petty, who has been  informed of the meeting - to fully explore the matter.

Kudos to the Telecomm Board for taking the bull by the horns and tackling this matter.

Springdale: World’s Creepiest Breakfast?

A friend of mine was in Springdale Saturday morning, at one of those restaurants that offer buffets - something for everyone! - when a customer came in and decided to order off the menu, possibly not wishing to take a chance on how long food may have been out in in the middle of the room.

Fair enough. What the customer didn’t see, but my friend did, was this:

Several of the items he requested, including bacon, were simply plucked from the buffet table and put on his plate.

That’s just gross, on so many different levels.

I joined a friend a couple of months ago in Fayetteville at Rick's Iron Skillet on So School for breakfast.

Same thing. I did the buffet, compete with microwave biscuits and egss in a milk carton, while he ordered from the menu. They took his biscuit right from the buffet.

The buffet of which you write, there's only one in Chickenopolis, also offers free range eggs (upon request) and fresh fruit. So, it's my favorite except they have never heard of herbal teas.
