The road to the Derby

Haven't heard a crowd figure, but with a day like today, Oaklawn Park should have been bursting at the seams and the infield should have been a fun place to be. If you haven't been watching TV, favorite Lawyer Ron won the Arkansas Derby and paid $3 and now goes on to the other Derby, that one in Louisville. Fox 16 puts the crowd at 69,000 and has some video. (UPDATE: We see the crowd was a record, in excess of 72,000.)
