The missing link

A word of explanation for very careful readers and those with RSS feeds who might have noticed a post that came and went a little while ago. We linked to a brilliant column by John Brummett on school consolidation. We even more brilliantly tied the column into the current race for governor and even used the occasion to gratuitously say a nice word about Gov. Huckabee, who, indeed, did stand firmly behind meaingful high school standards during the legislative session. (And he calls us illegitimate!)

There was only one tiny problem. In searching for today's Brummett column, we took the one on the Conway paper's web page, since the Stephens Media site had not been updated.  And we overlooked that  the colum there is maybe three years old. The more things change ....
