The tax cut

Belatedly, a kind word for Sen. Blanche Lincoln -- but not for Mark Pryor. She voted against (he for) yesterday's extension of the Bush tax cuts, which overwhelmingly favor the wealthiest taxpayers and do next-to-nothing for wage slaves. She's undoubtedly keeping her powder dry for the biggest giveaway to the wealthy of them all -- her burning desire to repeal the estate tax and award a multi-billion-dollar windfall on the 18 wealthy families, Waltons among them, that have been spending millions to push this outrage through Congress.
