Starving the beast

Jonathan Chait in LA Times writes about a study getting growing attention: It demonstrates that tax cuts historically have led to increased government spending (see the Bush Administration) and tax increases have led to reductions in government outlays (see the Clinton years). The worst of all worlds, of course, is the Bush approach. Unless you're a millionaire.
