Asa! and Rudy!

National Journal's Hotline blog mentions in passing that former New York City mayor Rudolph Giuliani will visit Arkansas next month to stump for Asa Hutchinson's campaign for governor.

One thing they have in common: Both were passed over by President Bush to lead the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security.

Things they don't have in common: Positions on abortion, gay marriage, immigration, etc.

Reynolds Campus of the Arkansas Sheriff’s Youth Ranches (The Ranch) located near Fort Smith was vandalized overnight Thursday.  Items stolen during the break-in included all of the children’s saddles, food, tools and supplies from The Ranch’s carpentry shop and all equipment from its auto shop.  An investigation is underway with the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.
