Paron lawsuit

Posted By on Fri, Jun 16, 2006 at 6:33 PM

There was a long hearing this afternoon in Pulaski Circuit Judge Jay Moody's court on the lawsuit to block closure of Paron High School. Much testimony from parents that students would be irreparably harmed by going to a different high school. ??? Neighboring superintendents testified they were ready to take the students, and provide transportation, if that would be more convenient than going to Bryant, with which the Paron district has been merged.

Our last report was that the judge was going to take the testimony under advisement.. If anyone has a further update, we'd be happy to hear it.
