Anybody drop by the Juneteenth hip-hop show at Riverfest Amphitheatre last night?

We didn't, but we hear the crowd was enormous. The litter (and horse droppings from mounted cops) along the streets are evidence of a throng that surged along Clinton Ave. and Markham last night and created a monumental traffic jam into the wee hours in front of the Peabody Hotel.

More big acts are on tap downtown tonight, weather willing. Don't plan on a quick cruise through the intersection of Markham and Cumberland. Won't be possible.
