Channeling Carville

Posted By on Mon, Jul 10, 2006 at 5:19 AM

Brummett takes off on a James Carville op-ed in which he observes that the Clintons don't get Swift-boated. That is, they fight back against any and all political attackers. Early. What does it mean for a Hillary candidacy? In Brummett's view, a split electorate just might elect Hillary over any Republican (including the Arkansas governor) except John McCain. To which we'd add: Unless HE gets Swift-boated. You think it couldn't happen? Remember South Carolina?
