The state education department yesterday filed an appeal of Pulaski County Circuit Judge Jay Moody’s temporary restraining order preventing the closure of Paron High School until opponents of the closure can make their case for keeping it open.
The appeal basically contends that the state Board of Education followed the proper procedures in arriving at its decision to close the high school, and that the opponents already had an opportunity to present their concerns.
