And speaking of hot

Posted By on Wed, Jul 19, 2006 at 1:31 PM

The hijinks have begun in the sheriff's race. Republican candidate Dewayne Graham has notified everyone from local press to an Arizona sheriff that he didn't like the way outgoing Sheriff Randy Johnson spoke to him last week at a meeting of a group studying the jail problem. According to Graham, Johnson angrily told him he would "guarantee" Graham would not be elected sheriff. The Democratic nominee is Doc Holladay.

Graham figures that to guarantee he won't be beat, Johnson must assassinate him, have him "set up" or rig the election. Graham says he's notified authorities of the "threats" and also demanded an apology.

Notify authorities. We, too, will guarantee Dewayne won't be elected.
