Barone named UAMS nursing dean

UAMS today announced that Claudia Barone will replace Linda Hodges as dean of the College of Nursing.

Hodges is retiring after 17 years of leading the school. Barone is currently associate dean for academic administration at the college and will begin her new position on Oct. 16.

Just three days ago, UAMS named Debra Fiser to be the new dean of the College of Medicine.
