Revenue report

Posted By on Tue, Sep 5, 2006 at 10:30 AM

The August revenue report shows tax money still flowing ahead of last year and ahead of forecast. Gross revenues in the month were only $2.1 million, or a half a percentage point ahead of last August, but more than $11 million, or 3 percent, ahead of a forecasted downturn. For the first two months of the fiscal year, the state is almost $15 million ahead of forecast and $46.1 million, or 6.1 percent, ahead of the same period last year.
