Big haul

Frog legs and Clinton raise $600,000 for Beebe. And another $400,000 for the Democratic Party. And $70,000 for Dustin McDaniel.

Noted: Clinton raised about half as much again as Bush raised and he's no longer in public office. I figure that's about how the vote would turn out in Arkansas today in a Clinton-Bush matchup -- 60-40.

In addition to four fund-raisers (including the high-dollar, late-night soiree at Nu), Clinton entertained others. If you saw a crowd late Thursday afternoon on the terrace outside his private residence atop the library, that would have been the former president and the 22-member class of the Clinton School, gathered with him for a class photo and a rare VIP tour.
