Fifth Anniversary of September 11th Attacks
  September 11, 2006

In observance of September 11, the Little Rock office will have a Flag Ceremony at the Center Street entrance to the Stephens Building.

At 7:46 a.m. on Monday, September 11, 2006, which is the local time of the beginning of the World Trade Center disaster, we will start our ceremony.

The program will include one minute of respect and reflection at the time of the disaster and then the lowering of the flag to half-staff.  A final tribute will be led by Pat Walsh, Corporate Security Director.

There will be a fire truck, paramedic van and police car on site symbolizing the lives that were lost on that tragic day.

Little Rock area employees who wish to participate:  Please arrive no later than 7:40 a.m. and turn off all cell phones, pagers and radios during this time.

Thank you.

The Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality has denied a new permit for the C&H Hog Farms' concentrated animal feeding operation near Mount Judea (Newton County).
