Colin Powell heard from

Posted By on Thu, Sep 14, 2006 at 3:29 PM

Colin Powell, who checked his integrity in a cloakroom during his service of the Bush administration, is reclaiming it. With Bush lobbying on Capitol Hill for congressional approval of his unconstitutional proposal (Lindsey Graham's assessment) for handling terror suspects, Powell let it be known that he opposed the idea, too. Powell understands the stakes for the military .

The smug Tony Snow, White House spokesman, first tried to say Powell must be confused about the president's plan. When he retracted, he made a Freudian choice of verbs in trying to make nice about Powell. "I know that Colin Powell wants to beat the terrorists, too."
