Do they still have that Officer of the Month award? A sure nominee would be Detective Terry Campbell, who noticed three young men fleeing a house on Poinsetta Drive Thursday morning. He gave chase and stopped one at gunpoint. Police spokesman Terry Hastings said Campbell also rounded up another suspect, a juvenile too, who was among three who'd robbed occupants of a house on the street. One thing led to another and police later arrested a third suspect in the robbery, 18-year-old Cordale McDaniel.

Hastings said the arrests cleared up four robberies -- the one home intrusion and the others of people working outside houses. They occurred in rapid succession Thursday morning on Poinsetta, S. Johnson, Choctaw  and Shannon.
